The topic sentence is about the one-child policy they said that limited Chinese couples to one child each. Chinese one child policy is to not grow the population to fast. China's population, now close to one billion because it was growing too fast. The Party worried that there would soon be more old people than young people in China. The idea was for couples to marry late, wait a long time before having children, and then when they had kids, have only a few. People disagree with my ideas because maybe they want the Chinese couple to have as many kids they want.

I think China's one-child policy was a bad idea because less people would help work on the the farm and taking care of the elderly.The one-child policy started in 1980.Even before the one-child policy the birth rate was already going down.During the policy China has already achieved a remarkable fertility reduction per women only having only 5.8 in 1970 to 2.7 in 1979.

It's a bad idea because China needs more people to become great workers and help the future for example engineers cops scientists and many other great and intelligent people so they can help aid China with its problems. China should let adult women have more children to help with the elderly when they get older and to help there family when they get old like there elderly around the house. China's one child policy is a bad idea becuse there popular and high paying jobs are only for women and women are way more wanted then Boys in China which is pretty in fair right. Women also have and advantage becuse they use there looks or attractiveness to help them get the job. my first reason on why China's one child policy is a bad idea is shown on the back ground essay. For the people who disagree with me you are wrong becuse if China lets adult women have more then one child they can help around the house they can help our elderly and when on child is older and the women has another child they can have a roll model and someone to look up to when they get older. Today, I am going to talk about China's one child policy. The one child policy was a policy where you could only have one child. If you had more than one child you would pay more taxes, go to Jail, or give it up for adoption. I am against this policy because some kids are lonely and have no one to play with or share there feelings to others but there friends. Also some kids are jealous because one kid might have everything he wants and that other kid doesn't. It's also bad to have kids like that because if they tell there parents they want everything there was, when they try to get a husband or wife they aren't going to control them and that can lead to a bad life and a bad family. (Doc F). In conclusion, the people who disagree with me are wrong because a kid is the only kid, they will be lonely for the rest of their lives and won't have anyone to play with, unless they have a dog, but some kids can't have a dog because they live in an apartment and can't have one. Some kids want to play or take care of someone and they can't. Some parents want more kids but the policy doesn't allow them or have another one. I'm pretty positive that it's sad for the parents to give that kid for adoption. That's why I am against the one child policy.
I say the China's 1-child policy is not a good idea.
Basically the 1-child policy is a limited Chinese couples to one child each however there were exceptions.
One, reason I think it was a bad idea because the policy was only applied to Han Chinese and as it says in the article an ethnicity that makes up 90% of the population so other ethnic groups were permitted to have more than one child which made the policy not fixed.
Second,reason I think it was a bad idea because there was more older people than younger and what the article states the party worried and the possibility convinced the party to allow urban residents who were single children themselves to have two kids.
Lastly,the policy was not evenly enforced.In some places couples who broke the one child law had to pay large fines or were punished with forced sterilization and abortions and in my opinion was not fair because the article says in other places, couples had two or even three children without paying any penalties
In conclusion, those are my reasons I say it was a bad idea and I know others will disagree just because they think the had more supplies for families but later on in 2015 the Chinese government abandoned the one child policy in favor of allowing all couples to have two children.

What I think about China's one-child policy was that It was a bad idea and should've ended a long time ago. It was bad because it wasn't doing anything and it was something else causing the problem. Also 76% of Chinese people support the one child policy which did nothing for China. Some benifits are that women could get better jobs if they look attractive to people so there the people that like the one child policy. Also the one-child policy wasn't helping it was getting worse China's population was already growing into billions.
So China's one child policy was not a great idea there was a little bit of benefits for women because if they look attractive they could get better jobs. And the policy was making It worse.

China's one-child policy was a good idea because there is only gonna be a little bit of kids in the classroom. And the teachers are gonna be able to teach better. In air pollution it would be a good idea because there will be less smokers. Less people and less pollution. In crime it would be a good idea because it would be less people to comite crime.It limited Chinese couple one child each. First only applied to Han Chinese. Second, the policy was not absolutely fixed. In 2015, the Chinese government abandoned the one-child policy in favor of allowing all couples to have two children.

The one child policy of china was a good idea becuase people can spend less money on their children and China would not be over populated . Yea you may think ohh thats sad what if they want more kids but its better with only one kid ........ Less bills to pay and that is better . Some people even put kids for adoption if its not the gender they wanted it to be a one child policy is good for China

Was the One-Child policy a good idea ?No,the One-Child policy was not a good idea.The One-Child policy effected the economy, because the majority were retired and the young people were not sufficient to help the economy.The One-Child policy was a policy that only allowed a couple to have one child.The One-Child policy also had many emotional costs as mothers that had a second child had to be given penalties such as sterilization or had to pay large fines, or even abort their child.Another,reason why the One-Child policy was not a good idea was that the sex ratio was not equal as there were many more males then females for the reason that parents who knew they were going to give birth to a female chose to abort because males could work and maintain the family.Singleton Daughter thought of the One-Child policy as a blessing because they obtained a better education and did not lack from any necessity.Singleton daughters were working and doing things that people thought females couldn't do.The One-Child policy might have been a blessing to some of the Singleton Daughters but it was not to other as some single children felt lonely or selfish as some happen to suffer from depression.To other single childrens it was not a blessing as they had to work and maintain their whole family with no support from siblings.The One-Child policy was not a good idea.

Chinas one child policy was a good idea because then the world will be over populated. Chairman Mao called for couples to have even more babies. Chairman Mao said "People are the most precious." more people means more workers would mean a stronger China. The idea was for couples to marry late, wait a long time before having children,and then,when they did have kids , have only a few. If people had more than one child they would have to pay large fines. In 2015 they changed the one child policy to the two child policy.

The two expetations where limited chinese couples to have only one child the second was? Chinese leaders where worryied because the number of citizens is growing and people at farms would have a hard time agreeing withe the on child policy beacuse they need kids to help around the farms and city people would agree beacuase they cuold just buy what ever the need. Chinas one-child policy was not a good idea, because before the one-child policy was introduced the population was already decreasing.
